Marking the International Women’s Day the Embassy of Sri Lanka in France organized a President’s Award ceremony to a Girl Scout in line with the theme for 2022 announced by the International Women’s Day website as “Break the Bias” on 08.03.2022 in Paris. The Sri Lankan Girl Scout Ms. Suvekha Pakkiyarajah currently living in Paris who studied at the Vincent Girls High National School, Batticaloa was one of the 700 Scouts who achieved the President’s Award.
