Marking the International Women’s Day the Embassy of Sri Lanka in France organized a President’s Award ceremony to a Girl Scout in line with the theme for 2022 announced by the International Women’s Day website as “Break the Bias” on 08.03.2022 in Paris. The Sri Lankan Girl Scout Ms. Suvekha Pakkiyarajah currently living in Paris who studied at the Vincent Girls High National School, Batticaloa was one of the 700 Scouts who achieved the President’s Award.
Mr. Arundika Fernando, State Minister of Coconut, Kithul and Palmyra Cultivation Promotion, Related Industrial Product Manufacturing & Export Diversification undertook an official visit to France from 04- 10 September 2021.
On Thursday 08th July 2021, the Ambassador met with Dr Pierre Anhour, Director International Division of the Curie Institute, at the famous garden of Marie Curie.
